Since the very beginning,
,La MAM's ambition has been to promote and spread live jazz music by making it accessible to as many people as possible.
After three editions of the Swing'in Venasque festival, 16 concerts, and 60 musicians who shook the heart of the village to life, it was time to enable all the children of the Venasque school to discover jazz, its history, its roots, its evolution, and its presence in contemporary music.

A live concert that made the walls of the "Romane" Hall vibrate and created a communicative effervescence in the village. THANK YOU to the school secular centre and the "Mon premier concert" troupe who contributed to this project initiated by La MAM; everyone's cooperation made it possible.

This first concert, "Billie Jones's Journey," exclusively FOR and WITH children, took the form of a day of complete immersion in jazz, with seven educational workshops with the musicians and their various instruments, culminating in a real concert that immersed the children in the world of jazz through the captivating story of Billie Jones, a passionate young woman who will do anything to achieve her musical dream. On stage, three talented musicians performed great jazz standards, providing an educational, fun, and captivating experience.
